Inside the Dark Carnival

After being inspired by a 20 minute infomercial I found on YouTube, I grabbed a buddy and went to The Gathering of the Juggalos, the four-day long music festival concocted by the Insane Clown Posse. I was hoping to find anarchy, which I did, but I also found a lot of heart. From Inked.

I had the opportunity to hang out with the heavyweight champion turned cannabis entrepreneur at his Florida home for this article. Seated in his living room with a cloud of weed smoke in the air and Tyson’s dog leaning against my leg, I knew that the interview could only begin with one question: “What’s it like to have the most famous tattoo in the world?”

“Listen, my family and my friends started crying [when they saw it]. ‘What did you do to your fucking face?’” Tyson says. “Now look [laughs]. Without knowing it, this was the best thing that ever happened to me. I had a really menacing attitude back then, I was pretty rambunctious back then, so I went and did it.” From Inked
